The Linus Sleeper PC

Just come across the recent video from Linus Tech Tips on their Sleeper PC



They used the following spec:
Antec SX840 Case
Intel i9-7900x - 10 core @ 4.4GHz
64GB DDR4 3600MHz
Dual Nvidia GTX 1080 OC @ 2100MHz
Samsung 950 PRO M.2

very nice spec, I do feel however using an Antec case isn't quite as good for a "sleeper" as its based on what was originally an enthusiast grade case, rather than the traditional Crappy OEM spec case that most of our and the guys in the community use.

Insane specs and an unbelievable cusom watercooling...
but the case is a bit not "sleepy" enough (and it looks like some sort cloned chieftec).
but a cooling sys like they built in would fit somewhere between worse and never ever in an old hp or dell case.
I have most parts (the whole front cover just...ehm...disappeared)of an AOpen H700b Tower. THIS is the UGLIEST case I've ever seen!!!


It really provides much space.

But the look of it...
Better put a blanket over it.

I took out the mobo tray to be used as some kind of "benchtable" (slightly modified).

So with a case like the aopen 700b, nobody would ever expect an overpowered machine like they built.

Interestingly, looking at the YouTube analytics on our Sleeper PC videos, the views on the day and day after Linus released the sleeper build video were in most cases 5x a normal days views! - Thanks Linus!!!!
