Blaster, the Semi Sleeper was created by Nik
Hi Folks!
I'm happy to present you my latest system so far. It's still WIP as the final GFX card is missing and the BIOS needs to be updated to support 45nm CPUs (which isn't that easy cuz I always get a "WRONG FILESIZE"-error).

SPECS

Mainboard: Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLI
CPU: Intel Core2Duo E6850 @ 3.0 GHz w/ Zalman ZF9225ATH Cooler
RAM 1&3: 2x1 GB Mushkin DDR2 RAM @ 800 MHz (5-5-5-15 CL2 @ 2.10 V) &[i9
RAM 2&4: 2x1 GB Patriot DDR2 RAM @ 800 MHz (5-5-5-15 CL2 @ 2.10 V)
Sound: onboard
FDD: ALPS 3,5" Floppydrive
HDD: Western Digital 250 GB SATA 3 GB/s
ODD: LG DVD-RAM & LG CD-RW @ IDE
PSU: Enermax Liberty 500W
Case: Terra Aqua Server
GFX Card: ECS nVidia Geforce 9550 GT 512MB RAM (temporary spaceholder!!!)

Awesome, Zalman coolers are so cool! love that case too and matching LG optical drives, a man after my own heart :-)

thx guys.
my collection is not as big as I wish it would be, but I keep on collecting whatever I can get my hands on. :P
we don't have thrift shops nearby and people don't throw out their stuff like they do in other countries.
and don't try to get some good old stuff from the junkyard, all you get is a unfriendy "keep ya fu... hands of that stuff!" :angry:

Swapped some components, here are the changes:

CPU: Intel C2Q 6600
RAM: 4GB Corsair Dominator @ 800 MHz (5-5-5-15 CL2)
GPU: nVidia Geforce 9800XT w/ 512 MB RAM

TBH, never touched it after the upgrade again. ;)
Took the PSU, RAM and GPU to complete another build.
Gonna update the collection thread soon. ;)
