tandy 1000 ex restoration! was created by Poicly
a while back i got and old computer from someone, he whas going to the dumpster with it.
i didn't know what it whas so i powered it on and it didn't work
so i let it sit for a while, i deap cleaned it for litteraly 5 days and the results are beautifull!
this isn't really a retro build but i wanted to share this with everyone!

the floppy drive is finicky, it work 90% of the time
maybe you noticed that sticker on it with the handwriting, it has been replaced before, i think the belt is chipped

yeah, I saw it. Tried to read it, but I can't. 
floppy belt replacing isn't that hard...
Done this with a 3,5" floppy, now THAT was horrible.
tiny screws and parts and you have to keep the parts in place with one hand and replace the belt with the other...
swapping the whole drive is a lot easier.

3,5" drives are easy to replace because there Everywhere 5,25" drives are a bit rarer, the computer is in The attic now, i'm going to keep it forever

a lot of cloths, paper towels, soapy hot water, and A LOT of patience
i really don't know what to do with it, i don't have room to put it either.
I will just store it for a later day
